Does anyone know of a guide to make your own murder mystery party/kit??!

Question: I would like some links or examples of home-made murder mysteries (Like a how-to-host-a-murder type) thing for a party. Help please, thanks!!! ( there will be 8-16 people there) If I don't make sense, just tell me.

A few years ago I had a friend throw a halloween costume party. While we were there, her girlfriend made a list of what everyone was wearing. We were told to show up at her house wearing the same thing we wore at the first party. She had designed our characters based on what we were wearing. Everyone got a card with their identity on it. I was the Vampire Countess Le Black. She played the victim Exotic Dancer Angel. The victim knows how they interact with everyone and can answer any question except about when the murder occurred. All they know is where their body is, but the death itself is too traumatic to remember. Everyone was at a party at the victim's house. The cards should include name, who they know and how they know them, occupation, location at time of murder (this includes who they were talking to and what they were doing), and motive(s). We had a gala event where the murder occurred and were told that since the murder had happened but no one could contact the outside world (house in lock-down) we might as well figure out who did it before we were rescued. I hope I helped and your party goes well. Oh, if there is food like a buffet table and a large room for people to interact in, it would probably help. Good luck.
