My friend and I are having an MTV themed party for our fourteenth bday - help!?!
Answers: we have a venue, but we dont want to end up spending an astronomical amount of money. we were thinking mocktails and xmas lites.
where ever you're having your party you may be forced to use their catering for all the food so you'll have to pay whatever they charge. It can get pricey. Otherwise have it at someones house, or check if you or your families know anyone who lives in an apartment complex that has a room to rent.Also you can check into your local park system to find a pavilion building to rent. they're pretty cheap and you can bring in your own food and drinks and decorate how ever you want.
have some TVs all over playing taped MTV, or find a DVD of old classic music videos! have guests dress up as singers or rock bands. have disposable cameras on the tables for your guests to take pictures with for you. get life size cut outs of artists or MTV VJ's. are you having a DJ?
