What can i do for my sons fisrt birthday party. It's in november so its gonna be in doors?!
Answers: there will be 5 kids under 2 and 2 kids over 10 i need something they can all do
A couple of tips;
A) keep the party short, under an hour, Toddlers get very overstimulated very quickly (& aduls/older kids get bored easily)
B) set the activities so the 10+ kids can refrain in needed. or alternatlively, set the activities so they can referee, & give them seperate, more age appropriate party favors.
C) Find somewhere/ create a space where they can be as messy as they want to be!
Some ideas-
Fingerpainting or crayons on a large sheet of thick paper hung on a wall (over a plastic coated or tile floor) is great fun!
A bunch of large/medium boxes can be a blast!
Rolling colourful balls across the floor
Serve the cake first & let the sugar energy flow.
open the presents right after cake-wrapping paper is always a blast for the very young
When the first kid starts the overstimulated/tired & sugar crashing crying jag, end the party gracefully.
Have fun & good luck!
Get a pinata. Everybody can play.
