Birthday Party Ideas?!?!?!
Answers: I'm turning 13 on the 27th I need some party ideas help please!!!
Do something you are interested in. How many friends do you plan to invite, and what's your budget? That's going to determine a lot about what kind of party you have.
Video party: If you have only a few girlfriends, you could do a sort of "make-over" party where everyone brings make-up, clothing, digital cameras or even a video camera and make a movie of everyone getting a make-over and then watch it together or post it on your myspace page if you have one. Maybe you could just do goofy things. (don't make this a public access page or video things that are "inappropriate" though)
movie night
mystery dinner (you can buy a package at a party store like LTM party where everyone comes dressed in a costume for their character and acts it out- kind of nerdy, but fun if you are the drama type :)
Before the party, create a memory slide show of all your friends funny pictures that you've taken over a long time, or even this week. Then show them background music. You could even use http://www.picturetrail.com/ to create a cool picture flick slide show with your digital pictures. Everyone will love seeing themselves and it will create a bond between everyone.
Hawaiian party with leis, grass skirts, tropical umbrella drinks, everyone wears bathing suits at a pool/beach party (especially nice in warm weather)
Blacklight party- have your party in a dark basement and have blacklight paint for each other to paint on themselves or decorate with, have one of those disco balls and have everyone bring their fav. music on their ipods or whatever
Scavenger hunt- if you live in a safe neighborhood you could have two or three teams of kids go to neighboors houses asking for specific items on a list like rubber bands, a milk jug. . .etc. and make it a race to see who can get done first (only if you know your neighbors, travel in a group, and make it safe) You could give cheesy prizes like a plastic carebear watch from the dollar store or a giant mexican hat
BS/Guess the fib: everyone writes down four "facts" about themselves on a piece of paper, except one of them is false. You have to go aroudn the room and everyone tries to guess which fact is the fib. Then the person will share which one is the fib. It's a great way to get to know each other.
Water balloons (if you live somewhere warm of course)
Make t-shirts or something that people can wear or take home and then wear the same day to school (f you don't have school uniforms)
play video games
make homemade pizzas and then eat them with ice cream and play a game like "dance dance revolution"
I wouldn't suggest: truth or dare if there are guys at the party with girls, or spin the bottle

Mardi Gras party! Or really whatever interests you and your friends like. If you're into music have a music themed party. My 16th was horror themed, but hey, we were big into the horror movies. Everyone loved it. Mom wasn't real happy about the prank with my friend dressed in a bloody mask standing over her bed when she was trying to fall asleep but we all laughed.
Depending on your friends, at 13, I'd stay away from the cartoon themes, lol. Unless of course you and your friends are big fans of one.

Themed Party (luau, "country", costume, fav. rapper/singer)
Colored Theme (Green, or like diddy's white party, any color)

Base your party around an activity you love to do
bowling is a great last resort. but i say dancing party! :)
*Slumber Party; with a group of friends. Do crafts and decorate in your favorite colors (streamers, balloons)
*Movie Party; get a group of friends together have snacks and decorate with movie decorations. watch a comedy. it'll be fun.
*Dance Party; rent a room.... get lots of music and food. Decorate in your favorite colors or all different colors.
Also because you're thirteen you can decorate With one picture from each age.
