Does this sound like a good menu for a pretty casual housewarming party?!
Apple-Walnut Salad with Cranberry vinaigrette
Roasted cherry tomatoes on herb toasts
Thyme and roasted garlic cheese dip (with crackers/veggies)
Hummus and pita chips
Zucchini patties and Spinach balls with Greek yogurt dip
Cookies and assorted sweets
I'm planning on doing all the prep tomorrow, since I'm making everything fresh - I figured I'd get some opinions on the menu first, though....So, whatcha think?

Answers: We're throwing our housewarming on Friday and I'm thinking about doing:

That sounds fantastic. I would also put out a plate of assorted cheeses and slice a really nice salami to fill people up. The veggie dishes sound awesome, but it might be a little light.
sounds pretty good. I wanna come to your house...the only thing i noticed is there isn't any protein. of course, that is entirely up to you because it still sounds good.

I'd have something with some meat in it, like meatballs, or bacon wrapped water chestnuts or something. I make these bacon wrapped little weenies that are awesome, wrap the weenies in half a slice of bacon and secure with a tooth pick, line a cookie sheet with foil and arrange the weenies, top with a scoop of brown sugar and mustard seasoning and bake in oven till bacon is crispy, the brown sugar caramelizes when cooking and makes them so tasty!!!!
Where's the cocktail weenies and nachos? Will there be wine and some good micro-brews? Or how about some good sangria or punch?

Sounds good, but where is the meat? ...... I thought I was in the Vegan/Veggie section ....... I doubled checked ... I guess I'll stop at BK before or after the housewarming to get a hamburg.
