What should I have for dinner tonight?!

Question: My wife is staying with some friends tonight who live about 45 minutes away to help them take care of their newborn so they can get some sleep. I am left at home with myself and my son (6 years old). He doesn't eat vegetables and I have no idea what sounds good right now. Help!!!

Are you really going to cook or are you just looking for something to prepare? My son is 6 and he absolutely loves Stouffer’s Spaghetti with meat sauce. 6 minutes in the microwave. He also likes the Tyson chicken nuggets (especially the Veggie Tales ones). Then, he’ll always eat chicken noodle soup, Chef B R D, hot dogs, corn dogs (frozen section), ramen noodles. You could always pick up a rotiserrie chicken. Plus, there’s a lot of stuff in the frozen section where you just add chicken or ground beef. For veggies- you could go with potatoes- 7mins in microwave. The Country Crock mashed potatoes are good too.

Six year olds like macaroni and cheese with hot dogs or you can make hamburgers, pizza is always good too.

Calzones.

Mac & Cheese with Hotdogs.

Or

Chicken fingers with Mashed Potatoes

You have had your son for six years and you dont know the answer to this question? Amazing.
Make it fun and get on a web site for cooking with kids and have him choose with you then make it together.

I think you should get a Boboli Pizza and make a pizza with your son. It would be fun for him, you two would bond, and both of you sould have something to eat for dinner.

order a pizza or take him to McDonalds

Spagetti and meatsauce or with italian sausage is very yummy! Just boil spagetti till tender....add sauce to spagetti and add meat once browned and cooked in skillet! YUM

Spaghettie, Garlic Bread, Salad. YUMMY!;)

Fast Food (Wendy's or Subway are better because they have fun, but healthy kid choices)
Pizza
Mac and Cheese
Chicken Tenders with french fries (BBQ sauce, ketchup, or honey mustard)
All of the above are kid friendly menus :)

Hamburger helper is always a quick and easy...or pizza!! Quesadillas - super easy to make in the oven and doesn't take long...spaghetti...
