If you want the girls out of the kitchen to free up the space for baking later...

For Breakfast: I'm being realistic, and trust me, you don't want to have to bake an elaborate breakfast that they may not like or appreciate.

Buy a bunch of different types of cereal, including the sweet ones and put them on the counter with the bowls and spoons after they go to bed. For a healthier snack later in the day, fruits cut to bite size pieces arranged on a platter with cubed cheese; easy to prepare night before.

Easy Craft Project:

Shopping List: from office supply or local craft store
Black Poster Board (1 for each girl attending)
Double stick tape (in the craft section) enough to share
Scissors (two per girl)
Old Fashion Magazines (to cut up)

Have all of the girls bring their fave music CD cases (all the Cd's are probably elsewhere). Then have them cut the art from the CD cases to make a collage of their favorite bands.
They can use the magazines for the lettering to customize their works of art.

I know it sounds corny... but run it by your daughter and see what she thinks. My daughter is 17 and in college and she and her friends loved the idea.

Good Luck!

leave for a while and let her do her own thing

choc chip pancakes or french toast!

Make up some fresh fruit cut up in a bowl make a day or 2 in advance. Make a big batch of muffins when you put together the fruit too. Quick easy breakfast and if you trust them let them eat it in the livingroom with some paper plates. that's what I do.

Since they aren't going to be getting up early on the day after, how about something simple like fresh donuts, bacon, and scrambled eggs with cheese? Add some ice cold orange juice and a cup of hot cocoa and they should be in heaven!

Donuts..... like munchkins are great :) and fresh fruit..... sounds fun, happy birthday!
