why not meet up at a pizza place or some restaurant to have dinner then just go hang at the mall or go to a movie. depends on the season of your birthday but you could go mini golfing, bowling, ice skating, sledding, play a game of kick ball! you could hire a belly dancer to come give lessons or a hula dancer, have a tarot card reader to give fortunes.
Go to laguna beach and party on the beach all day then that night go into town and go out to dinner, then go back to the rented beach house and watch movies and party. then the next day go back into town and shop or watever then go home
