The don't necessarily have to be directly related to skates. Just get cute good looking decorations in her favorite colors. Then maybe make your own skating accents by printing them off your computer and cutting/pasting them. Or maybe even buy some skating stickers to stick on stuff like cups and plates.

As for party favors..maybe a gift certificate/coupon to that skating rink?

use a lot of pink! or a bunch of different colors. use some streamers and stuff like that.

Go retro, when I was a kid ROLLER DISCO was big!! Hope the link helps.

Best website ever for Party planning. You can also buy Fuzzy Dice?

A 50's "sock hop" theme would be nice - records, malteds, poodle skirts and loads of turquoise, hot pink, black and chrome. Skate parties always make me think of "Happy Days" for some reason - maybe because they are sweet and uncomplicated and it would be a really fun look for the party. Another fun theme might be Disco 70's lots of glittery mirror balls and cascading flashing lights - if it's an all girl party you could help them "glam up" like disco divas with side pony tails and glittery face stickers (most moms are funny about makeup until the 12yr range). Hope you find inspiration. Good Luck!
