Italian Candies?!
If you know what I'm talking about and/or a site I could order them from. please let me know. And no, I can't ask her. She died in 1985.
Answers: My grandma used to ship us these candies Tourini, Toroni. something like that. They are white candies that come in a blue box. They are a nougat with nuts with a thin wafer on them; they come in (flavors, not colors) orange, lemon, and vanilla.

Torrone - either buy it on line OR go to any Hispanic food store. Torrone is eaten by many Latin Americans (and Spaniards) for the Christmas holidays and you'll certainly find it there usually all year round).
PS - there are two types - soft and hard nougat
PSS - make sure you have plenty of sweet bubbly to wah it down with.
PSSS - a good moscato or Spanish "Cidra" (cider) works out just fine
It must be the "torrone" but I'm not 100% sure of it.
