I have never 'ever' had a Chinese take-away.

1987. Seriously. I found a bone in a shrimp eggroll, shrieked, and left.
If I don't make it, I don't eat it.

About 6 months ago - don't remember everything but between the 2 of us we had chilli beef, spring rolls, special fried rice (had that reheated the next night!!!) and prawn crackers & something else.
Felt stuffed at the time - but ended up having toast before we went to bed!!!
At least once a week.
I have been getting "Chicken and Brocolli in Garlic Sauce", I love that stuff so much I would eat it everyday if I could.

two weeks ago...chicken chow mein, beef veggies, s&s pork, and not so great egg rolls
last weekend, myself and 3 kids had veg spring rolls, chicken fried rice, singapore rice, chicken chow mein and sweet and sour chicken, whilst watching x factor.
It must be 6 or 7 months ago - it was shiny and glistening with grease - lots of salt and sugar to boot. WooooooHoooo!
The taste was - plastic pork balls
and the so called curry was all flour and water
The noodles were all stuck together to form a wig from the 70's
I think the ribs were from a rabbit - small & dry so, the moral is:
Fresh is best..........Do it yourself, you know exactly what you are eating....and it's healthy.....xxx
About two months ago and it was really nice,I like the rice dishes and sweet and sour sauce xx oh yes don't forget the spring rolls yummy
last weekend veggie chow main with sweet and sour sauce :)
1977 in Bombay (now Mumbai). My ex and I shared a flat with a Swiss couple, but the kitchen was virtually unusable (by European standards), so when our husbands invited the Swiss managers, who were on a short visit to come to the flat for an evening meal, without consulting us, we were more than a little annoyed. Since the Swiss are not too keen on 'hot' food, we decided to ask the local Chinese restaurant for a 'take away'. It was more like a party service. They brought dishes and cutlery and when we had finished the meal, we called them and they came and took everything with them. No washing up!
I cook Chinese style, northern China, Cantonese and Szechuan (some like it hot) and take aways have only recently become popular in Switzerland.
never... isn't that sad ... :-(
I hate chinese so i never have it.
