Sadly, yes I have. I was too little to know any better. For those of you who are uninitiated, balut is a chick boiled in its shell in highly salted water before it can be born. So, you get everything in this little package -- chick, feathers, beak, feet. Bleeeeccch! Why the heck did my parents let me eat this? Acccck...

yup... i live in the Philippines where it is just normal to eat balut... i know that some culture may find it disgusting... hmmmm.. for me it taste good especially when it is warm and the duck embryo is still small...
