What country eats dessert first?? I always thought it was scotland am I right???!

Question: No, Scots eat main meals with an optional starter to begin (rare except at dinner parties) and optional dessert to follow just like most westerners.

I couldn't find any country that does have a sweet course first, but I did find http://silverinternational.mbhs.edu/v202... which is a list of different eating customs.

We in New Zealand eat it after our main.

No you are not right. Scots dont eat dessert first.

No. Scots do not eat dessert first.

Never heard about that really, but I don't see why it matters?

If your craving dessert before the main course why not?

I myself sometimes order dessert and skip the main dish, no harm in that =)

The Yankees in Maine. Ok just me.
