I like pork adobo, not so much about chicken. I just had sinigang two days ago. It's good with really hot rice and a coke. Man I should cook it again tomorrow.
I think the food taste great, and the vegetables often served together with it are healthy. Plus it s not expensive to make and taste great with rice. I am pinoy also and getting very hungry.
I think any real Filipino would love adobo and sinigang although I got to appreciate it when I was in my 20s already.
Adobo is more foreigner-friendly that's why a lot of Filipino hosts bravely serve it to expat guests and they usually love it.
Sinigang is more of an acquired taste for the unitiated.
Basically, it's down-home comfort food.
i love sinigang and adobo because for me its a comfort food brings you back to your country..i also love cooking adobo with coconut milk ...
