I don't know why, it's just my thing.
I guess I just like fish and all the seafood.
My favorite pieces?
mmm.....Uni (sea urchin), Albacore Tuna, Toro (tuna belly), and believe or not, Conch (Jamaican shellfish) ...it's very good, tastes similar to Miru-gai but a little more sweet and elegant.
The downside I feel is that there are so many "fake" sushi out there these days.
Sushi is a very delicate dish which requires the right knowledge and skill to prepare (and to store,too).
I really hope sushi should be prepared by those who know exactly what they are doing with.....then it would be a great culinary experience to many people (of course, except those who can't eat seafood).

The appearance of it is unattractive.
Like the taste but generally dislike the cost.
Why? Strangely, because I like things to taste nice and cost as little as possible.
mmm it is so good, and very good for you. i actually got very ill from sushi, I was eating it everyday for a few monthes and got extremely ill, now I only eat it about once a month, my new favorite.... Peruvian Ceviche!!!

Gee, there just isn't anything I dislike. Oh! I know! Here in the central part of the US we don't really get good sushi. It's best on the West Coast or in Japan. Other than that. . .
What I like: good tuna or salmon sushi.
What I don't like: any sushi that isn't fresh.

It's convenient to eat, and fairly cheap (Although I noticed other people find it expensive - maybe it's cheaper here in Australia?)
