Where can I buy wild or african yams?!
Answers: Sweet potatoes and yams are not the same, yams are white, huge and look like big roots... I'm looking for REAL yams, wild or african... just not the orange sweet potatoes!!!! I live in central Texas and can't find them anywhere? Is there a place to order them or do you know of a store near me? Austin, Waco, Dallas, San Antonio? HELP!!! Thanks!

The phone number is 512-453-5487. The owner is from Nigeria, and if they don't have yams, they may be able to point you in a local direction to find the kind you like. In south africa you can buy them next to the road we call the Patats (PAA TAA TS). Did'nt even knew that you get them in the US? Good luck finding them.
