Answers: Is there any nutritional value in either?

Gold and silver leaf are made of just that, gold and silver. Food Grade leaf is supposed to be gold and silver that isn't alloyed with other toxic metal such as tin or lead. To make it the put as little as 1/20th or 1/30th of an ounce between sheets of paper and stack them up to about 50 - 60 high. Bind them together and beat the stacks with a heavy mallet for hours until they are that thin. I am sure this method has been update somehow to something like how they make aluminum foil only rolled out much thinner.

They are made of extremely thin real gold and silver. There is no nutritional value as the serving size is in miligrams. It is strictly for decoration and conversation value.
