Gettin' cheekier!any1 know where2get ready made sauces like they give you in indian restaurants!?!
Fry a few small bits of chicken in a little oil, and an onion, and some bell peppers if you like. Maybe a chilli, or something too if you're brave. Then add the sauce, heat it and away you go!
Serve it with rice and naan bread and then invite me over!!!
Answers: Yeah, here in the UK you can get them in any supermarket! Just look on the aisles. Pattacks are great. Enjoy the different kinds - korma, madras, vindaloo if you like it hot, jalfrezi, balti - those are the different ones to look out for.

a ready made sauce shop
Patacks ready made cooking sauces.
S&B Curry. Found in most grocery stores. I love it. Creamy, and anything from mild to hot.
Indian grocery stores and any other grocery stores where Indian food is popular carry many packaged goods for sauces, desserts, spice mixes and chutneys & pickles. They have been on the market for years. Indians are very avid businessmen; the food industry is no exception to their attentions !! You will find many things to buy.

I am not a huge fan of Patak's cooking sauces, I have tried all of them and find them too "Americanized".
If you have access to an Indian store, I highly recommend PARAMPARA spice mixtures for North Indian dishes and MTR brand for South Indian dishes.
