Ethnic BBQ - discuss?!
Answers: what are some international bbq options and recipes!
Im Cambodian and I barbecue mainly with this herbal paste called kreoung. It's like master paste that grills well with lots of grilled meat. The recipes depends on the way you would personally make it. The paste I use is usually consists of lemongrass, galanga, garlic, kaffir lime leaves, honey, fish sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper.
i may have some - please define what you consider international? does soul food work? please advise and THANK YOU for a GREAT question....!!
Well, there's Mongolian BBQ, and Korean. Um, that's all I can think of.
I don't have recipes but i'm sure you can find them on foodnetwork.com - there's korean BBQ, which is kind of like a teriyaki marinade. then there's thai BBQ which is served with peanut sauce. both are YUM.

Korean BBQ is the best. The grill is centered in the middle of the table. The meat is covered in a red pepper marinade, re d pepper paste, oil, and garlic. It is then brought to your table and you cook it at the table. This ensures that the food stays warm. It is served with numerous, up to 10, side dishes and green leaf lettuce and Dangjung(a bean sauce). You put the meat in the lettuce like it's a tortilla and enjoy. Add a little Soju and your golden.
Jerk chicken or pork.
Great.
Mexican barbacoa isn't bbq...it is pit-steamed meat.
If you want mexican foods, look for recipes "A la Parilla" (on the grill), or "asada"....(grilled) in your searches.
I'd consider tandoori chicken as a potential "bbq"...I don't like it.
