What is the oddest coloured cheese ?!

Question: I am a former chef and there are two that I really like, Sage Derby is a nice greenish flect cheese from England so is Stilton, a whole wheel looks like an old tree stump.

In France there are some wrapped in leaves and one rolled in wood ash, it is a chevre, I had some yak cheese when it Singapore, it had bluey-green wax on it. But I love Limburger, and if some one were to put it on a plate alone, some people might mistake it for a rotten old yellow sponge, it is wrinkled and has a very pungent aroma.

300 year old wensleydale

black or I've seen bright shocking pink

They do this cheese with hot red peppers in, but it looks like something's bled all over it. Tastes lovely though!

the cheese wit magets its a light white and chunky looking

There are so many really.

David H. You know your cheeses, Limburger is quite strange with it's smooth, sticky, washed rind that's reddish brown.

I think my choice would be: Gippsland Blue. With it's natural, orange crust covered with a dusting of white and blue-grey moulds. It is produced by the Tarago River cheese company. It is one of Australia's finest and best known blue cheeses. From the region of Victoria. It resembles "Dolcelatte

I have seen a stilton that was ripened with apricots in it, and it had neon-orange bits in it. I'm sure there's much more interesting-looking cheese out there.
