Anyone from India.. got a question for you...?!

Question: I had a client and I used to go over to his house in the Seattle area. While there, his wife had some kind of dish that had morroccon spices, nuts, some kind of crackers all mixed up and it probably had some curry powder as well. Can you tell me what it was? I have since moved and don't have contact with him anymore, but I crave that stuff.
Any idea's on what it was? or a recipie for mixing it? can I buy it in bulk? Hook me UP!

It was most like "chewda": a mix of various items like peanuts, sev.... it's a snack. The spices used are Indian, not Moroccan. The "crackers" are all various shapes and sizes, they are made of fried chickpea flour.
