Question: I am trying to find any one who knows this one, I tried it once years ago but don't know how it is supposed to be made, I think originally it is a Pacific Island dish

Aah a favourite of mind, I have many Pacific Island friends and each one have there different variations on the dish, also known here in NZ as raw fish or marinated fish. my friends use whole or fillet snapper, lemon juice, coconut cream, chopped tomato & spring onions, leave to marinate, some leave it overnight in the fridge. Oh don't over do it on the lemon, it can "cook" the fish. Hope this helps.

Sounds like Ceviche. Most people use lemon and lime juice, tomato, onion and chili. Some pacific islanders use coconut milk also.
