Can you use Chop Sticks?!
Answers: I do like using them.
Yes, I'm quite good with the old Chop Sticks, I like to show off when eating in a Chinese Restaurant!
oh i wish i could.. seems fun :)
yes - its easy
I like using them, but when I am very hungry, I don't have the patience to fool with them.
Yeah once i got them set up properly - use em now and then for a laugh sweet and sour chicken balls and that or if i starving straight tofork!
Yep
Used to practice with the kids passing peanuts
Yes, it's very fun to use them.
No. It can be quite embarrassing say if I'm in Wagamamas and everyone else is using them at my bench and I'm not. I feel like a child with one of those cups with the drinking lid on them.
Yep, best way to enjoy a homemade chinese meal, that's what I had tonight. X
Yes I can use them, but I prefer knifes and forks!
yes
Yes. I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area. It's so diverse, you can learn to do a lot of fun things like that, not to mention the different foods there are to try.
I'd be better off using my toes. I am not coordinated enough to use them. I'd starve to death.
yep....easy......if you want to practice, rubber band the top ends together and give it a go....
Sort of, but if I'm really hungry I always use the fork. Some foods are tricky to retrieve. When the Chinese restaurant serves whole leafy greens, I can cut it with the edge of my fork but not the chop sticks. With the chop sticks, the greens fling off or splatter when I try to bite the greens off as others can. I can't pickup smooth slippery foods like mushrooms easily either.
I see many young children at other tables adroitly using them though. Usually I am the only person asking for a fork at my table.
I can just about use them but I always give up and use a fork because my meal gets cold and I get hungry!
i've learnt to use them properlly over the past 6 months of staying in malaysia, it really isnt that hard, you just need to use them regularly.
yes! but sometimes they get tricky with rice
Yes. But don't forget that in Chinese restaurants the rice is served in a rice bowl. The rice must be 'sticky' rice. Eating rice from a flat plate is a nightmare, especially if someone serves you long grain rice.
Yes. Both the round and the square. It's even more fun when you get the reusable polished ones.
Yes, and I am pretty good with them. I just don't usually eat with them on normal day, I have to be in the mood to use them because forks are so much easier.
Yes I use them all the time when eating Chinese food. i prefer Japanese chopsticks
