What type of dessert or snack do british or french people eat?!

Question: French are very into their pastries. So tarts, pies, croissants, and other bread-like desserts. They are also very famous for their creme broulee.
British are known typically for their tea and scones, or maybe fruit salad.
Hope this helps, and if it does, i wouldn't mind ten points for a best answer! Hehe, no pressure! :)
