Wanna Eat the Naga Jolokai...?!

Question: I need some advice I wanna eat the Naga Jolokai (hottest pepper in the world) raw but two things
1) Where is a good place to buy the pepper/seed
2) Any medical risks involved (ie throat closing up?)
I'm mainly concerned with the medical risk part so are there any safer yet extremely hot peppers that have less of a risk? Please respond.

I am a former chef in Canada and buy them in my local Indian shopping district, first you will not find a raw or fresh one in North America, they are all dried and shipped from the district in Indai they are grown, harvested and dried in.

There are no medical issues, unless you hyperventelate when eating them, and the one fellow said something about the Red Savina Habenero pepper, I have 3 bottles of hot sauce made from them here at this time, they are you best bet here in North America or Europe to find in a fresh/raw state.

If you want to go to the Assam district of India, and find a few in there markets, in season, there is were you would have to go for that to happen, Iknow of a hot sauce and I will give you a website link to buy some if you want.

NOPE THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

.

holy crap!!!!!!!!!!! tell me what happened when u eat it!!!!!ok?

i am sure that there are some risk on your health ... i would not try

Why don't you try it with a red savina habanero first. The claim that the Naga Jolokia is 60% hotter than the R.S habanero is disputed by some. They are both the hottest of the hot - it's like comparing molten lead to molten copper.
