When would a jar of bruschetta expire? Or does it?!

Question: I've had a jar of it in my cabinet for a while...6 months, a year maybe. There's no date on the jar...it's Trader Joe's brand if that makes a difference.

Do you think it is safe to eat?

The bruschetta will be safe to eat as long as you haven't opened it. Actually with all the tomato in there, the pH is probably low enough that it would be safe anyway. After opening just refrigerate it. It's good until the mold starts growing. If it is a year old you will probably lose some flavor but it's not unsafe

If you haven't opened it yet and the jar hasn't bubbled up its OK.
