What do they put in "braunschwieger" meat at the deli?!

Question: It looks like liver. I'm almost afraid to ask, but here goes.

Answers: It looks like liver. I'm almost afraid to ask, but here goes.

Something like liverwurst.
It is a liver sausage that is sometimes spread rather than sliced.
Good stuff esp on pumpernickel w/ a dark beer.
Aftereffects of that combination can be ....amazing.
Prefer not to know exactly what's in it but compared to hot dogs?

It does have liver. What else ? fill in the blanks.

Your really want to know? LOL

Named after the German town of Braunschweig, this smoked liver sausage enriched with eggs and milk is the most famous of the LIVERWURSTS. It's
soft enough to be spreadable and is usually served at room temperature.

It is liver. If you are yukked at liver, you will be yukked at liverwurst (other name for braunschwieger)

Smells awful. When I worked at a deli before and saw that and had to smell a few times. Worse than liver cheese.
