Howo do you make chinese jiaozi (dumpling) fillings ?!
Answers: I need to know what kind of fillings i can put inside of chinese jiazi. Mostly vegetble ones cause I don't really like the pork one much.
mince beef mix with chopped cabbage, chopped ginger, garlic and spring onion.add some soy sauce into it.if you want you can put diced prawn into the mixture.
The most traditional ones are either made with napa cabbage or chives (also called Chinese leek). Just shred the vegetable, blanch them in boiling water, drain and squeeze out the excess water with your hands, put it in a bowl and mix it gradually with salt and oil (make sure it's coated with oil), then add meat if you want. Then add five-spice powder, pepper, chopped ginger (you have to put ginger in unless it's completely vegetarian) and sesame oil.
I've also seen scrambled egg with chives, adding shrimp is optional. But whatever you make, make sure you season it really well.
Chicken is NOT a traditional filling.
I like chicken and edible tree fungus.
