i dont personally like them. then again i dont like spicy things, which is how they fix everything, reeeaaaaalllly spicy!

My stepmother and siblings are filipino, so I'll occasionally get some good cooking from them. My faves are:

Halo-halo
Adobo
Pang Sinigang (probably spelled that wrong)
Sweet sausages
Green mangoes with vinegar
Fried fish with vinegar/soy
Some kind of stinky soup with bamboo shoots, milkfish, some kind of leafy green vegetable, and fermented fish sauce. Can't remember the name of it to save my life, but I love the stuff.

Pancit is a clear noodle dish with vegetables and some meat.

Sho-Bou (that is how it is pronounced) is a meat filled baked or steamed bread/dumpling.

Lumpia is a Philippine eggroll...I have only had meat ones.

And, of course, Edobo, which is meat marinated in soy sauce, vinegar, and garlic and boiled or otherwise cooked. Very good! The difference between this and hispanic adobo is the hispanic version is in a tomato base.

My friend from work as his wife to make me a Philippine food and when I ate it. I was damn I need another one. she knows how to cook and also she made this egg role. wow taste good and he even let me take some home and my siblings love. so I'm talking off marrying a Philippine girl or any Asian girl because they can cook good food. that's why I only eat at Asian restaurant. you can smell the food from out side and even in your car when your window are close. yummy. tasty.
