um no

You mean like uncook/raw? They're on sushi.

Not the best thing on earth. =/

My American lover surprised when he see I put big plate on table with lobster on it with some shell cracked and flesh cut to flower petal pattern, then he reach with chopstick and lobster crawl away. Live shrimp bit his finger few day later. Korean swallow small octupus whole while alive, I eat small pieces. Japanese and Korean both eat live seafood.

Live is not that uncommon. All the oysters people eat in the states should be live, or else you'll be sick. Mussels, crabs and lobsters must not be dead when cooked or you'll be queasy.
A lot of Asian 'live' food is similar--freshly killed fish and freshly killed squid/octopus. Squid/octopus is interesting because it still moves a bit due to latent electric signals.
Hate to say it, but if you're a meat eater--all edibles, including, beef, tastes best right after the *squeak* deed.
