Heaven, pure and simple

I have to say....eating at Somkey Bones.....their pulled pork is the best.

Let's see the best food this year...

At La Castile, in Mississauga, Ontario.

I had

Appetizer of shrimps & scallops
Salad was Caesars
Entree was Broiled lamb chops, roasted potato & carrot with green peas
Desert - I couldn't eat any more but I had coffee with Grapa

It was my birthday treat from one of my sons & his wife.
My son's entre was a whole stuffed trout & my daughter in law had roast beef

If they invite me out for dinner next year I already what I'm having for entree....King Crab Legs & 4 oz filet mignon. Someone at the next table had it and it looked fabulous.

At ?stanbul in the shopping centre called Kanyon here's what i had:
First of all spicy Chinese soup, than Pekin duck meat (they have both sour and sweet sauce for it, try the sweet one, it goes perfect with duck meat) with rice, than a huge ice cream (flavor of various berries and double chocolate sauce on top). YUMMY!!!

Monkfish in ponzu sauce at Gayjmaru at the Upper East side with a side of fried oysters.

A full rack of ribs with barbecue sauce, I can still taste it mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I'm hoping to have a rack of lamb next week though. Darn! I feel hungry right now.

Sansei restaurant in Maui, fantastic sushi!

good ole soul food.

My husband got a new job and the managing director took us out for dinner. We went to a little Turkish restaurant that has opened not far from us. It was the most wonderful meal I have eaten in a long time. I had Pil Pil.... Mussels cooked in a sauce of fresh coriander, tomato, lemon, garlic and paprika, finished with harrissa. Followed by Tangier De Poissons Royal...Cod fillet, Salmon fillet, king prawns and mussels cooked in charmoula sauce, served with couscous. For dessert we had Baklava served with fresh cream and sprinkled with nuts.

Korean food at Han Kuk Kwan in Milwaukee, unfortunately they sold the business earlier this year.

Had lots of nice food recently but overall it'd have to be the gorgeous Lobster we had a few months ago.
