A chinese dumpling (jiaozhi/potsticker) restaurant?!

Question: If there was a small little restaurant in a city...opens 24/7 and they mainly serve just chinese dumplings (jiaozhi/potstickers) offered in different flavors...quick, fast, and very cheap would it do well in terms of business? Would you go to a restaurant like that after say a night of bar hopping or clubbing and get some quick food?

Ha! you are stealing my idea!
i think that is a great idea! just don't open in china town or ethnic city though, coz they can be really critical and drive down the price you want to charge.
potstickers make great snack and clubing food, make sure dont put garlic in the dipping sauce though.
i was thinking opening one, tiny size, near our movie theater, which big young crowd gathered during the weekend and lots of business surrounding it.
24/7 may not be necessary, the overhead could be high.
dont sell them too cheap, i think $3.99 - $4.99 for 6 is a good deal.
let me know where you want to do this? :)

I definitely would, esp if it was located close by in a good neighborhood. Sounds perfect!

It depends on the groups. If I was after work with my coworking chefs, I would go to the restaurant to get food and drinks. But after a club, i'll probably, mcdonalds, or any american fast food joint.

I am not sure where the restaurant is at, but they do a dim sum, menu, looks pretty tasty . However I know it was not in my area. But dim sum is very popular.

Absolutely, especially if it was kind of trendy you know? With a modern decor... I could see that being really popular, here in San Francisco, I think a place like that would take off. There is a 24/7 thai place here and it crazy at night, it's really the spot after hours. I think a dim sum joint would do even better.

In Chicago there is a restaurant similar to that called Wow Bao. Not open 24 hours though.
