Does leftover Chinese food freeze well?!

Question: I have fried rice, lo mein, sesame chicken and egg rolls leftover. I hate to throw it out. Will it freeze ok? I'll probably use it right after Christmas leftovers are done.

Yes it does. Well it doesn't taste quite the same when defrosted but I do it. But then I live alone and sometimes I just have to have Chinese food. In order to get a few dishes there are always leftovers.

You're welcome. I always order extra won ton soup deliberately for freezing. Report It

Not unless you like food poisoning,
it is not good to re-heat and eat chinese food,
    It's great fresh,
But any other way its a hazard

    NO NO NO

    no

We never have any leftovers! We will have Chinese for dinner and more as a late night snack.

No, not exactly, unless you want to get sick two days before Christmas.

Throw it out! Chinese food should not be kept overnight unless one is really poor in the pocket. Are you?

You should treat Chinese food as all kinds of different cuisines. Use your own judgment based on the ingredients.

You can click the link below to see how long they can be left in the freezer before going bad.

But as it is recommended to consume your dish hot and fresh. ;)

it'll be fine! My bf eats stuff like 3 weeks old and is still kicking!

Freeze quick as possible but u will probably taste even better.
