Mexican food or puerto rican food?!
Answers: I prefer Puerto Rican Food because I'm Puerto Rican and Mexican food is nothing but Tortillas 2 me but i need 2 no ur thoughts
That's a very unfair assumption, so according to your logic: Indian food is only curries, Chinese food is all stir frys and Italian food is only pasta? Totillas maybe a big staple in the Mexican diet but there is much more to Mexican food beyond a handful of dishes that are common in the US.
What about mole? It's one of the most complex dishes I have ever tried. Lots of wonderful and delicious flavors that blend well together. What other cuisine has successfully combined chilies and chocolate??
Ok! first off that is so racist considering Im half mexican!
But anyways I hate it when people say mexican food is just tortillas!
Mexican food has a lot of variety like Posole wich is a mexican soup, Carne asada, Tamales and much much more!
well my friend i can see you are not up to date on your food ,because they both are very good and oh so yummy.
Please don't do that. I am half Puerto Rican and I love both Puerto Rican and Mexican food. They are very different styles of Spanish food. Mexican food is more colorful and has a lot of flavors that pop out at you while Puerto Rican food is a mixture of caribbean, african, Spanish, and Taino. It's all wonderful to me! Try Mexican food. I suggest Tamales with red rice and salsa. Very yummy!
Mexican food, because never have Puerto Rican food before
I love Mexican food and have never had Puerto Rician food so can't say about it. However, I love Cuban and Brazillian foods too so most likely, I would love PR foods too!
Mexican food is just tortillas? Wow, that's like saying French food is just baguettes! Mexican is one of my favorites, and to those who seek authentic cuisine there are so many different foods out there. Let me just name a few of my favorites: pollo en mole (chicken in a chocolate pepper sauce,) carne asada, menudo (tripe stew,) birria (goat soup,) chile verde, frijoles refritos, horchata, tacos (esp. tripa, cabeza, al pastor, lengua,) tamales, mojarra frita (fried tilapia), ceviche, sopes, torta ahogada, and yes, FRESH corn and flour tortillas. This is just the beginning, my friend. I haven't had much Puerto Rican food, so I can't say which one I like better, however, I love Peurto Rican pasteles!
Love Puerto Rico, and it's food&rum!!!! Been to there plenty of times, also to Mexico. Both cuisines, when you visit, get more into the traditional cuisine!! More ethnic, not Americanized...
