Middle eastern meat pie dough?!

Question: Does anyone have a good (homemade) recipe for the dough that is in middle eastern meat pies. Like the kind that has spinach or meat in it. I always try to make it but the dough is never anygood. I belive the pie is called Sfeehah. It needs to be traditional because my husband if from there and he does not like generic tasting food.

1 1/8 cups water
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
and just mix everything together very well cover it and let it sit until it rises for about 1 hour then when you want to Handel the dough just spread a little of oil on the counter and you balms and work with it so it wont stick on ur fingers

you should make bread with meat on it....first make the meat and dough for the bread...then cut circles of the dough to flatten them, then add the meat to it...cook them in the oven on really high heat for short periods of time...

Have you tried using puff pastry? I make meat pies (Indian curry spices with ground beef) and bake them in puff pastry. They taste great and it's so much easier than making dough.
