Answers: If I'm in a French restaurant? What would you recommend me to order?

Order something typically French, like Coq au vin - casseroled chicken in wine with mushrooms, shallots and bacon.
Steak au Poivre - Peppered steak
to follow order something light, like Tarte au citron, lemon tart - nice! Bon apitite!
try some foie gras as an appetiser, its really nice, and really french.
I don't know what fllavours are appealing to you right now but I would be ordering esgarots in buttter & garlic, then rack of lamb with asparagus & small roasted potatoes and for dessert a slice of lemon tart. I would also want to order a bottle of Burgandy.

Escargot if you've never tried it. Definitely order some wine. Get a cheese dish. All that usually fills me up. Lamb, rabbit, and duck are always exceptional. There's really nothing to fear in a French restaurant since they make everything taste so good!
But do stay away from the boudain...
