I bought some Mexican farm cheese.i dont think this cheese melts. need ideas on what to with it.?!

It's delicious, use it in salads or as a garnish for soups, beans, on top of anything really!

Actually Mexican cheese can melt...there are different types as well that you can use for different purposes. You can fry Panela. Fresco can be used crumbled or sauteed...and there are so many other styles of cooking for the different types of Mexican cheese.

It will not melt like mozzerella, if it is a fresco cheese /queso, it can be crumbed and added to tacos, fritattas, on salads, if it is firmer and can be grated, use it in enchilladas, in burritos, omelettes or on tortillas in a tostada.

It can be used for cooking to in a queso sauce for dipping or over veg and grilled, I buy queso fresco here in Toronto, Canada, and some firmer queso blanco. Try it in many ways and dishes to see which it is best for.
