I have a new food processor, what do you guys use yours for?!

Question: everything: I am one lazy a** cook! chopping, dicing, liquefying, kneading, purees.... it's my best friend in the kitchen!

Unfortunatley it just takes up space now. But I used to like to make pizza dough in it.

I have a Magic Bullet. I use it to make baby food for my son.

i use mine for cooking

i use mine for shiting.

pie crusts, soups, frosting, chopping nuts/chocolate/coffee (sometimes) and buttermilk biscuits......I use it at least once a week.

hummus, pesto, lots of different sauces. salad dressings, pie crust, bread. just about anything i can.

You can make your own pesto's with basil, or brocoli rabe or fresh leaf parsley. (or any green leafy veggie)
You can make bread crumbs out of stale bread.
You can chop/grind nuts. Go to some recipe websites and check out all the recipes. Rachael Ray uses her F.P. all the time.

it is a dust eliminator on the shelf of my pantry but I have to wash it every time I go to use it..

I have one which I used in the beginning, years ago.
Now it's just gathering dust (and is a pain to wash if I want to use it). I prefer a regular blender (with glass jar) or a food mill for most things.

Doughs, I do by hand or electric hand-held mixer, depending on the recipe.

I use mine all the time for different things like pastry dough, sauces, and especially chopping veggies. I especially love it when it comes time to make stuffing. Instead of chopping all my carrots, onions, and celery, I stick them in the food processor and then mix them in with the bread. Hope this all helps and hope you find some good uses for it!

garlic...sometimes...lol.=)

ham salad...quick and easy

ham [can use canned if you like]
sweet relish
small piece of red bell pepper
dab of mayonnaise
