What about spaghetti in a parmesano reggiano butter sauce, put it on forks with little cups, did that for an anniversary party last yr.

baked ziti

alfredo w/ egg pasta

Buy one or two of those "Bertolli" frozen meals. They taste amazing and no one has to know you didn't make it from scratch.. ;)

Chicken parmesan...use ziti and frozen chicken patties it is SO YUMMY!!!

Pasta with alfredo sauce, stir fry, and shrimp. It's very good and very easy to make. If you want it to be less expensive maybe take out either the shrimp or the stir fry and it will still be very yummy. :D

Greek Pasta salad is always a hit.

cooked spaghetti noodles w/garlic butter sauce, add olives and cooked shrimp with salt and pepper. serve like a cold macaroni dish

I'd bring a pasta salad because that way you don't have to worry about keeping anything hot/heating anything when you get there. Just make some macaroni and throw some veggies in and some feta and olive oil dressing and you're set. If you're not comfortable making up a salad, here's a website that has a whole bunch of quick easy pasta dishes!

1 pound ziti rigate
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, 2 turns of the pan
1 small onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 (15-ounce) can, crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 pinches ground cinnamon
Salt and pepper
3 ounces prosciutto, 1 thick slice from deli, chopped
1/4 to 1/3 cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
Softened butter to coat a medium casserole or baking dish

Bring large pot of water to boil, then salt and cook pasta to al- dente on the chewy side, 7 minutes. Once your pasta water comes to a boil to cook ziti, preheat oven to 500 degrees F.

To medium skillet over medium heat add extra-virgin olive oil, 2 turns of the pan. Cook onions and garlic in oil 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and bring to a bubble. Add cream and season sauce with cinnamon, salt and pepper. Add chopped prosciutto to sauce and stir with cooked pasta to combine. Coat a medium casserole with the butter. Adjust seasonings and transfer pasta to casserole. Cover pasta with Parmigiano-Reggiano and place in the oven for 10 minutes. Serve hot from oven.

cook pasta on the soft side,,,,,add fresh garlic, two cloves crushed, and fresh basil while cooking. drain once done.
new pan (flat) two packs of streaky bacon cut into slices (small) 1 punnet of mushrooms, 2 fresh chilli pepper finely cut or crushed with garlic crusher (chilli powder will do) one large red onion finely chopped, fresh basil leaves finely chopped, 1 nob of butter..a table spoon of olive oil, two cloves of fresh garlic crushed or two medium squeezes of a tube of garlic. fry on a med to high heat... stirring every 40 seconds or so. once bacon is cooked and others are bronzed add a tin of chopped tomatoes and a little of the water you cooked the pasta in and some halved black olives if you fancy...some peple don't like them...... if sauce is too thin or there isn't enough of it..i know it's cheating but buy a jar of ragu to add to it..you don't need the whole jar...just enough to cover every piece of pasta once you've tipped it into the mix.
trust me this is absolutely scrummy and that's from some one who can't stand pasta!
especially with some garlic bread...hmmmmmm
