What is your favorite arabic food?!
Answers: i love shawarmas. you cant find a good shawarma here in the U.S. but when i go to the middle east the real ones there are sooooooo good!but thats like my favorite arab sandwich.my favorite dish is Maqluba
I love it all: hummus, baba ghanouj, falafel, tabbouleh, fatoosh, chicken mansaf, kabsa, biryani, maqaluba, shourabat ' adas, samak maqli, dolmas, labneh, halwa, kataifi, nammoura.....
It's mostly healthy, but all delicious and wonderful!
**Lamed: I have a question for you! I am Indian, so I dont know but do you consider foods like couscous, tagines, harissa, bistilla.... to be Moroccan or are they too also considered to be Middle Eastern of Arabic foods? Personally, I associate those foods specifically with Morocco.
But I also consider kabsa to be more Saudi Arabian, Mansaf more Jordanian....
My fav is Gulf cuisine (Dubai), it combines Arabic and Indian cuisines --- the best of both!
Food comes in languages now?
