Answers: Filipino Food
Pronounced Show-pow!
ha

It depends on what type of filling you order:
the bbq pork has some fat in it and sauce which is fatty plus the starch on the steamed bread.
the bola bola has a lot of fat and good flavors with hard boiled egg either ground pork or ground chicken and some veggies.
Just enjoy the siopao in moderation.

It is, because the sauce inside is very sugary and most likely thickened with cornstarch.Plus, sometimes fat is left on the roast pork in the filling.

Siopao is really Chinese Dimsum, known is Cantonese as Char Shio Pao (Roasted Pork Bread). The calories come from the filling, which is roast pork with some kind of plum or sweetish sauce. The dought hat surrounds the filling is not much fatteing because it is made wihtout oil.
