Would you cook and eat from a pot an elderly crippled man used to use `cause he couldn't make it to toilet!

Question: Well if you would buy dishes and pots and pans from a flea-market then your answer is maybe.

Answers: Well if you would buy dishes and pots and pans from a flea-market then your answer is maybe.

I can't believe the crazy question on here. Sure glad all my pots and pans are new but you do give one something to think about-lol.

as far as i can say is that that cripple man is alo a human being and i wount mind in cooking and eating in the same pot,

no never

ur Q is too long make it shrter i don't have time 2 read all of it

Oh my God, why would you even consider it? You've gotta have other pots around, right? Toss the old one out!!!!!

Why not? It's trivial to sterilize it. But if image or superstition is your bag, and not science, leave it for someone else to buy.

Ewww NO... but I don't buy dishes, pots, or pans from flea-markets so I don't need to worry!
You on the other hand, I think, have learned your lesson. How you found out that some old man previously crapped in your pot is beyond my imagination but good for you. Don't be cheap anymore, okay?

People that buy dishes from flea markets tend to be out antiquing, and buying antiques.

You can bleach and clean away anything.

I mean, your hands have more germs on them at any given moment than a public restroom's toilet seat, you know?

So I guarantee we are in contact with far more disgusting stuff than a plate that someone pooped on a LONG time ago (which was probably washed many times since).

Hey, lady. That stuff all washes. Look, I've found some of my very favorite stuff from yard sales and auctions and so forth. I am NOT going to go muslim and imagine problems where they don't exist. If you don't own any dish soap, don't buy those things. If you do, what the hey.

If health precautions were the only issue involved here,i would also think sterilization would be the answer , but the human psyche has deeper ramifications .Pots & pans are so easy to replace with new ones,no reason to make do with less that satisfactory ones.
I am a great believer in recycling & reusing ,but when the item warrants a toss ,i would do it.

So you ask the question and then answer it.

Not every pot and pan at the flea market has been used as a toilet, or you are going to the wrong flea markets.

If you HAD to cook and eat from the same pot, you could find many containers to use, without taking this man's toilet. You would just have to be creative.
