Does anyone know about Kosher gummi bears?!

Question: I like gummi bears but can't eat them with pork gelatin.

Answers: I like gummi bears but can't eat them with pork gelatin.

There is a brand called "Haribo" that sells kosher gummi-style candy in animal shapes.

It is usually available in kosher supermarkets, rarely in mainstream stores in the U.S.

If you do a google search on "haribo gummi bears" you'll find a number of on-line sources.

(Gelatin can be made from animal (mammal or fish) or vegetable ingredients.

Gummi bears with reliable kosher certification will be pork-free. If they are also labeled "pareve" (I can't think of any that aren't) then they will be mammal-free, but the gelatin may be from a fish or vegetable source. This may not meet the requirements of strict vegetarians.)

you can get lots of them in Israel, dont know where to get them in the united states!!!!
By the way some rabbis say that gelatin is not really unkosher because it has been deformed so much.
I dont really know to much about that whole discussin though, so dont take my word on that!!

go to a health food store there sold as vegetarian gummi bears try wholefoods or a lassens

I remember being in Vons and I saw a little corner full of kosher snacks like gummy candies, almonds, chocolate etc. If you got a Vons store near you ask a stores associate.
