What do French people call "French Toast?"?!

French Toast = Pain Perdu (Lost Bread)
French Fries = Frites.
just toast (pain grillé). or just fries (fritures or frites) i believe. it's not even french so i never really got why we even call it that. oh well they're both good to eat so who cares......mmm food
The French people did not name these items, foreign visitors did when they visited France. example the French call French fries frites.
