Does quiche originate from England or France; I always believed it to be France but British people said it was!

Question: England

Answers: England

Not England. Not exactly France either. Quiche came from the Alsace before it was part of of France. It is a French version of the German Kaes, cheese.

A thousand years before any part of Europe wrote anything down the people of Asia, China, India, Africa, did all the same stuff....

France originated with Quiche Lorraine. The British came up with bacon & eggs, then they started making Bacon & Egg pie when they all started getting cookers/ovens. The Italians have frittata - no pastry. When the Italians added pastry they called it Pizza Pie.
