since I assume that you don't have access to a refrigerator while carrying the food to school, I suggest scones.
Pies are easy, but they need to be refrigerated and warmed up before eating. They look very greasy and gross when they are cold. Plus, you need a knife and a fork if you're going to eat it.
Same goes for fish and chips- it gets greasy if it sits, and it can make you sick if left at room temperature for too long. It also entails frying, which is easy for adults and older teens, but might be challenging and dangerous if you're younger.
Scones are also easy, they don't spoil at room temperature, you can make them almost as small as finger-sized food.
This recipe is very easy, and you can treat your classmates to some sweets after your presentation

best recipes ever are at foodnetwork.com

Make shepherds pie, it's very simple.
All you need is ground beef, onions, beef broth, peas and potatoes.
Cook the beef and onions, mix in the peas, make mash out of the potatoes, layer on a baking pan with beef mix on the bottom and mash potato on top, (sprinkle with little cheese if you like) and cook in the oven untill hot and bubbly.
(Look in eg. Yahoo Food! for the exact recipe!)

a really easy n cheap recipe is shrimp tempura n i just made some the other day :D

i dont measure cuz ull know how much u need depending on how many servings n it doesnt hurt to make more cuz u can use it for later

-bag of shrimp (peeled n devained unless u wanna do it urself, if frozen, for very fast defrost run cold water over them to seperate - *works with anything frozen btw*)
-flour
-corn starch
-egg
-season salt
-garlic salt
-any other seasons u like
-cold cold water
-bowl
-cup (or another bowl)
-oil

1* in the cup (or bowl) mix dry ingredients (u might have to make more according to how water the batter gets)
2* beat egg in a bowl add cold cold water
3* slowly add dry ingredients mix but dont over mix cuz its supposed to be a lumpy till its thick enough to coat shrimps
4* after u use all the dry ingredients put more flour in cup then toss shrimp to add a light coat then dip it in the batter thats already made
5* when the oil is hot (set stove to about 3 or 4 for SLOWWW cook) drop shrimp in
6* watch/flip shrimp when needed (shrimp cooks fast so u can do a tester to add seasoning if needed)
7* take out of oil n set on napkins to get extra oil out

ps.. the batter should be light just before golden brown u can take it out unless u like it golden brown but i wouldnt suggest it

How about .Toad in the hole. It's easy to make and has a great name.If you don't already know,it's sausage in Yorkshire pudding, and don't forget the gravy.Good luck with your project.

bubble and squeek
The name of this dish is due to the sounds that are emitted during cooking, the cabbage bubbles as it is boiled and then squeaks in the frying pan. NOTE: This classic British dish originally contained beef along with the leftover cooked potatoes and cabbage, though today people don't generally bother with the meat.

3 servings 35 min 20 min prep
Change to: servings US Metric
1 ounce butter, margarine or bacon fat
1 onion, finely chopped
1 lb potatoes, cooked and mashed
8 ounces cabbage, boiled
ground beef (optional) or lamb (optional)
Melt the butter in a large frying pan, add the onion and fry for a few minutes until softened, stirring frequently.
Add the potatoes and cabbage.
If you are including the beef, add this as well.
Fry over a medium heat for about 15 minutes until brown then serve.
Omit the beef and lamb and bacon fat for Vegetarian.

ohhdamis, how is SHRIMP TEMPURA English?

Anyway bangers and mash and shepards pie is pretty good, or you can do fish-n-chips or cucumber sandwiches.

For cucumber sandwiches, you take white bread, spread soften cream cheese and sliced cucumbers. then you cut the crusts off and cut them into cute even shapes with a cookie cutter or a knife.

How about fish and chips.
fried fish filet's and fried potatoes, Serve in in cone-shaped news paper like they do in Liver Pool. You might first put them in paper towels then in the news paper so you won't have a problem with news print ink.
