Is Rice-A-Roni still considered the San Francisco treat?!

Question: why only San Francisco - why couldn't it also be the Cincinnati treat?

Answers: why only San Francisco - why couldn't it also be the Cincinnati treat?

Because then ...you couldn't sing that song while you're cooking it !

it musta been invented in SF. If Cincy comes up with a treat they can name it accordingly

yes, it is. Isn't Cincinnati known for chili or something.

Pam

of course dude

It used to be. Now, it's a guy named Steve.

It is now a nationwide treat!

Well YES it is the San Francisco treat>>>I know ,,Why couldn't it be called the Detroit Treat???

Of course it is

well i'am from san francisco and it is not my favorite treat but an advertisement. so if you like it that much it can be anybody treat,,,,,

Because it was invented in San Francisco, not Cincinnati.

LUCKILY, WE CAN ALL ENJOY IT

I just looked on the box the other day to see if it still said it on it and yes it does, so I guess it still is!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The guy who invented it was from the Bay Area. DeDemonico just passed away last year. He's also the founder of the Wine Train in Napa Valley. Also a wonderful philanthropist.

now it's just a treat for poor people
(I like that stuff)
It's the next best thing to McDonald's dollar menu

Kentucky chicken (NOT KFC) is a style of cooking. I make it in Illinois. It's still Kentucky chicken. Even is Rice-a-Roni hasn't anything to do with San Francisco, it is still associated with San Francisco in the same way French toast (which has nothing to do with France) or french fries (ibid) are associated with France.

yeah the song says so ...

I love rice a roni !!! especially the fried rice one.

I still have about 10 boxes several kinds
NO note of San Frqncisco...
You do know that was a TV comercial ,,,,a very painful one
Just like
head ON head ON Head ON

I think Ghirardelli chocolates are a better SF treat! Besides,
Skyline Chili is a Cincy treat!

um. i live 30 minutes away from sf, but idk. yes.
