I love it on toast! Have you tried it one bagel chips with melted cheese(edam)? It is absolutely delicious! My mom is also English, so I grew up with it as well.

No i don't like marmite. But i really like vegemite!!!! It tastes great on toast! :)

marmite is what you eat when you can't get vegemite. Try vegemite, and you will be living an upgraded life. You can thank me later.

Sure. Why not? What's not to like?

Yes I love Marmite... and sorry all those Vegemite lovers, I was brought up on Marmite and Vegemite is a poor second choice - yes have eaten Vegemite... doesn't do it for me :).

Being vegan I use Marmite in stews, gravies and casseroles as well as on toast and in sandwiches. Yummy stuff!! Marmite is the best!!

Yes my Dad like marmite. He was from England too. Thanks for reminding me of that food he liked. I will buy some now.

I am English and i love it,if i have toast its always with marmite i also love it with mashed potato and melted mature cheddar on top the only thing better than a jar of marmite is two jars

Yes, we like marmite on toast.

We get it at the local Asian market and they carry some very British influenced foods. I take it that these foods they carry are due to all the missionaries that went to China prior to Chairman Mao's rise when he expelled the missionaries.

I live in Canada.

I used to be a missionary and I LOVE Marmite - nothing to do with China or Canada though! I took marmite to the Philippines with me but never found a single Filipino who liked it. It's great on pandesal.

My partner says "You shouldn't trust anyone who doesn't like marmite". Thinks there's something fundamentally wrong with them!

But have you tried Marmite flavour crisps (potato chips)? WOW!

And if you like marmite you'll love twiglets, right?

Oh and try toasting one side of a piece of bread then turn it over and spread on some marmite, cover it with grated cheese and then toast that side under the grill - YUMMY!
