I just got back from the Bahamas. there was this sauce that was served with the fried shrimp and the grouper.?!
Answers: Anyone know what the sauce was or how to make it? It looked like a light French dressing, but it was a little spicy. Goldies had the best sauce like this, but I had it at other places.
It was an Escovitch. sort of a sweet n sour with a kick.
it is in most carribean cookbooks.
It could be remoulade sauce.
