Spicy seasoning on fries?!

Question: I went out to eat one day and had french fries. Over to the side was a can of mildly spicy flavoring for them that was about the color of curry. I want to find some to use at home. Does anyone know what kind of seasoning it could have been?

Cajun Seasoning
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Or you may try...

3/4 teaspoon coarse salt
1/8 teaspoon Cayenne
1/8 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon ground coriander seeds

cajun seasoning

I know sometimes when I make my hot wings I mix melted butter, hot sauce, garlic salt, pepper and I smother my wings in grilled onions. I use the sauce as dipping sauce for my fries also, It may sound weird but try it!

Old Bay? The restaurant Red Robin makes a spice specifically for their fries. Im sure you can find it online.

May have just been some Seasoned Salt which you can pick up in your spice aisle. We put it on fries at our house.

old bay is good.

Many restaurants use Lowry's seasoned salt, you can find it at the grocery store.

a seasoning called Tony's Cajun seasoning

Could be paprika & cayenne peppers mixed together

depends where you're at, but anyway if it was a can ( shaker ) it was a home spice, and usually in my house i prep a mix of chile ( ancho and jalapeno-dried ) cummin, oregano, black pepper ,garlic, and onion, powders to make a shakeon seasoning for the table (on whatever ) . i also like to cut up the potatoes in thick wedges and MARINADE IN -RED DEVIL-LOUISIANA HOT SAUCE then dredge in onion and garlic powder ( potatoes are semi-precooked ) then refry or bake at this point --really delicious and spicy TRY IT you'll have fun !!
